Lil bit of help...

For some reason my amp doesn't get power any more... When i first turn my stero on the power light of the amp comes on for a second but then turns off. I went through and checked all my connections and checked my fuses. I also tried hookin up another amp and i still had the same problem... can anyone help me????

use a voltmeter.
check both the +12 and remote trigger lines for 12 volts.
also check ground point with continuity tester.

Glasswolf... i checked for 12 volts and it was good... any other ideas on what might be goin wrong???? Thanks

if power to the amp is good, disconnect the speakers and see if it comes on.
if it does, ya got a bad speaker
if it doesn't, ya got a bad amp.

already tried disconnecting the speakers, and the amp does the same thing, turns on for a second and shuts off... i've tried 3 different amps and the same sh*t happens???? its drivin my crazy

I have had a similar problem.. There was 12 volt going through the remote line when disconnected but when connected to the amp my voltmeter was only showing like 2 volts. It cleared up the next day... The temperature was about 20F so was it too cold for the amplifier to function?

that's one that'd be easier if I could trouble shoot it myself. heh
yeah check remote and batter voltages at the amp when its hooked up.
something is losing voltage, or you have a short or bad ground.
