my friend just got a fosgate 801s amp its 800 rms and a JL audio 15"w3v2 dvc would this amp work good on it i think these amps are overrated some i was just wondering please comment
Those rockford amps suck!!! I had two of them... they are garbage. Both broke within a month of each other. try the kicker 600.1 class d mono amp it will push the 15 fine, and it is under 250 bucks on ebay.
yea u where probly making them f*ck up because i have a 401s and its a really good amp.! the 801s is double the power. how whould it be a bad amp. u probly had defective ones.
just cause it says 2400 watts on the top of the amp doesn't mean it will do it thats like at 1 ohm bridge max power that is way OVERRATING that amp look at the rms on the amp not max power
