There's got to be at least 5 posts about this. Either choice would be great. V-Max has a little more SPL, Shiva has a little better SQ. 300W will power them both fine in a ported application. It will push the Shiva to full excursion in a 1.75 cu ft sealed box. That's the route I would go.
