Hey jonathan or ne one, you kno how u can wire one dvc 4 ohm sub to 2 ohms..im just sayin. I have 2 alpine type r's right now i got them bridged to my amp for 4 ohm. well back to the wiring with one sub u can one down to 2 ohm so cant i just wire them both the same way and have them on seperate channels on my amp would it then be 2 ohm load at the amp for each sub?
Yes, you can wire the voice coils in parallel for a 2 ohm load. Then connect a sub to it's own channel on the amp. To wire in parallel, all you do is run a wire from the positive of one coil to the positive of another, and the negative of one to the negative of the other.
