Hi I have a general question about connections and noted Filippos reply and so I would like to ask the following. Help needed please. I have the following.. Pioneer PDP 434HDE with PDP R04E media receiver Sky+ (pace) Sony rdrhxd860s Meridian 598 Scart DVD Meridian 568.2
Sound is sorted. I am looking for advice on Video only. Priority to DVD and Sky, followed by the Sony. Video currently goes direct from the units to the Pioneer. ( ie, not through the 568 )
The pioneer has the following inputs. 1 Scart RGB in 2 Scart S-VIDEO in 3 Scart Component y,Pb,Pr, S-VIDEO, RGB in
The DVD has the following outputs. (Someone says it has component out of the scart?) Scart RGB, S-VIDEO, Composite S-Video Composite
Sky+ has the following outputs. 1 Scart Composite, RGB 2 Scart Composite S-Video
The Sony has the following outputs. HDMI Component Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr S-Video 1 Scart CVBS S-Video RGB 2 Scart CVBS S-Video
I also need to connect Sky to the Sony and at some point soon, I will want to connect a Mini Mac via S-Video to the Pioneer.
