I haven't used it in a couple months so the battery was dead. I plugged it into my computer and it doesn't even power on. Then I get a notice on my screen that says "Windows does not recognize the USB device attached to this computer."

Junk?

Have you tried resetting the piece of sh1t? If it is dead I would probably try to get my hands on a Zune HD. Maybe wait a bit on them though because the first batches of them may have 1st edition bugs and things of that sort.

I had the 30g Zune and never had an issue with it. It was thick as sh1t but rock solid. My old 30g Ipod just wouldn't sync to my pc one day. Couple times I would lose all data on it. The freaking "Do not disconnect" icon got burned into the screen it flashed so much. It never went away. To me it was a waste of the $100 I paid for it.

There's a reason I said that the Ipod was a piece of sh1t, too much fail experience haha.

I've had my Ipod for probably about 5 years now. Never failed on me yet. Just don't be a dumbas* and treat a $300 piece of equipment like crap.

I love my ipod touch and will be getting an iphone as soon as my ATT service is up for renewal..... I used to hate on the ipods a lot since there were much better quality players out there... that is until they made the itouch/iphone then i was sold. There are still not the best but you just can't beat apple's user interface. The ability to have a phone, ipod, and everything else in only one device is just awesome.

Haha, Itouch, the 1st Edition Ipod and updated ones that first had 3g tech are all trash IMO. They all have issues, any phone does. This is why I have a trash phone and pay a cheap monthly bill -_- Iphone bills are at least $100 a month from the 4 Iphone users I know.

No it's the assumptions that you make and the context in which you post, as well as never posting anything useful that make you an idiot.

haha. why do you think that?

I've never said anything to you.

And if you say it's because I say pointless things. I bet all of your 4,000 posts were all helpful. It's just a forum. Settle down.

Again, for some reason you're not getting this, not upset. I merely observed and made an observation.

My posts may not have always been helpful to whatever the topic was, but at least they weren't all pointless and unhelpful, like your posts for instance.

You're right for once, it is just a forum. So, quit trolling.

That's redundant Thieves. That's like saying you contemplated and made a contemplation. Or you perceived and made a perception.

Get your s@#$ together dude...

"jail broken"

I'm guessing you're saying unlocked. Did that plan also give you full use of the phones features? Hit me up on AIM when you're on Sean.

The good thing an ipod is that if anything breaks, the repair is super easy and available for extremely cheap.

That is what makes ipods ftw.
