Haha, he does have a point though. Pennies are legal tender. A warrant??? Seems a bit much.

But yeah he should have just paid it with cash and got on with his life.

I hope he files a suit against them and wins. They act as if they can't just go to a bank and have it changed for paper money. Way to make the guy famous haha.

Hey have you ever bought stamps at the PO from the machine and it spits out Susan B Anthony coins for change? I don't want that sh1t either but you have no choice.

I don't see a law being broken. He settled a debt using american money.

Everyone can be a pain in the azz sometimes but it doesn't justify a warrant.

Next time you get a speeding ticket I dare you to write in the notes section on your check "For speed trap".

See what happens.

In high school the price of lunch increased over 50% in a weekend so me and my other buddy got about 40 people in our lunch period to buy lunch ($3-$5) in pennies kinda as a protest but to screw them over too. After the third day of it the principal sent a letter out saying no one could use over 20 pennies at one time. Prices didnt go down but it was the talk of the school. Funny thing is, the lunch ladies didnt count it, they would look at the zip lock bag and set it to the side and let us go through.

hyway tolls in Boston are set to go up, and some Protesters are planning a day that all couumutes should pay the $7 with coins. I dont get what that will do, other then slow traffic at the tolls. but yea, thats thier plan.

And the cops went to far imo on that guy.
I heard a guy went and bought a pick up with coins. Like $17 k worth..I believe he filled the back of his old pick up with them.. Kinda like that movie, "Trailer Boys"
