Hey all. I'm new to the forum. I'm an IT guy so I understand the monitor technology etc.
I'm fixing a Toshiba 42" 42hl67us for a friend.
Symptoms are as follows:
TV Powers on with no abnormal lights flashing. Display will show a PERFECT screen for about 1 second then goes completely black. I could see the feint image of an xbox logo when testing.
Audio still works. I can switch inputs just fine. I've tried multiple output resolutions.
I'd likely think inverter or backlight. Just want to make sure I get the right part etc. I've already got the TV's back panel off for reference.
