i have original pansat 2700 hooked to a dish 1000 with dish pro plus lnb. i have a subscription to dn with 1 box in living room and the 2700 is in the bedroom. i have 2 wires coming from the dish into a junction and 1 coming out of the junction to the living room. the junction had an extra hole so i hooked the wire to it and ran it to the 2700. i get channels half the time, i dont think its a freezing problem, but when i scan the sats it acts wierd. i set lnb to dp and echo 7, on disecq to #1 scanned and got channels on 129. so i set the sat to 129 on disecq iset it at #1 and it scanned 110, i set it at 110 on #1 and scanned and it got a mix of 129 and 119. i tried a blind scan it found channels and got to 45% but it stuck for a while so i cancelled it. anyone know how to scan this setup?
