Hi, I would like to know how testers, bin loaders, load the bin on the nfusion solaris boxes, R232 cable? or S.D card? I'm tired of the R232 cable process, my compu dosen't have an 9 pin connection for the R232 cable, so i gotta take an old compu out of the closet, and re-hook up everything.
SO, I'M INTERESTED in a new box, that i can load bin without R232 cable, ANY SUGGESTIONS

When you are talking about Nfusion, you are automatically talking about a good Broadband connection, and Ethernet downloads.

first time u have to download by using RS32 cable,
if its not already with 1.30 bin,
then u don't need Rs32 after that,
its one time only,,
next time u can simply use remote to download bin,
press menu internet sw upgrade, its that simple,
or u can use webloader ,just hit ur ip adress using ur laptop/desktop comp,
and u wil get in to webloader and u can simply download from there without hastles of any wires...
by the bin's normally come after a month/2 month so ..
i know some people normally forget "how to download"...
last 3 bin's they put the bin in server ,
and if u simply turn off rec from back and turn it on again, it will say new bin availalbe (how simple is that)..
let me know if u need any help..

Nfusion solaris is cheap i think for $ 130 or so,
NF HD are expensive about $ 450-500,

some good /bad about nfusion,
firs good,
its 99% of the time up during ecm compare to other boxes,+ it's up with some bev channels while none of other boxes have this achievement yet..
bad,
channel change is slow, about 15-20 sec,
nova is more slower than solaris model..
pic quaily ain't that awesome,
u need a constant internet connection (network cable from router)..
with out internet it won't work..
its not built in pvr,
i mean it is but u can record it on comp directly and 95% people have problems using pvr...

2nd box is k1plus its new "kid" in town,
impressive picture
pvr (the next bin will be pvr ready)
option of using iks and standalone,
iks not that impressive,
standalone fixes are faster,
built in usb, plug and play,,

no bev channels with k1plus yet....

Good info Sada but my Nova only takes about 4 or 5 seconds to change channel. And my picture is as good as my Extreme.

andrenalizer,
let say ur router is close to ur tv, u can use network cable plug one end it ur nfusion rec and 2nd end to ur router,
lets say ur router is far away from nfusion rec,let say for upstair bedroom and u want nfusion rec there then u need to buy powerline adapter ( u can get it at any sat shop)..
powerline adapter u can plug one in ur router and the other end in any electrical outlet and u have high speed interent u can plug the network cable from ur adapter to nfusion rec (no messy wires etc)..
viewsat are good not the best ,
if u are looking for rec that needs least maintenance and u wanna watch channels all the time "nfusion is for you."
all other brands are same viewsat, sonicviwe all have same support,
nfusion is "little" advance,
