I just got my 8000 last night but doesnt seem that I can get any HD programs, at the time I'm poiniting at 110/119. I know there's not that many HD channels on these birds but I want to see if the HD works, I'm gonna hook up to 129 next week when my equipment comes in.
I did a scan got my channels but when I went into MENU, then Transponder list I noticed that I get quality for the QPSK mode but none for TURBO-8. Can anyone shed some light on this? And it does have the 8qpsk module installed.
SonicView SV8000 HD around $430 without the Q board or about $620 with the Q board up grade. If you have the more expensive one, you should get at least a few HD channels.
Press the Menu Key Select the Install Menu Use your Up and Down arrow key and select External Module The External Module should be "Detected" Set Normal QPSK to "Built-in Tuner" Press Exit
