ok polstar here are couple of items you need to get started....
u need a fta reciever... right now nfusion, viewsat ulta , sonicview... all good to buy ...
i will recommend nfusion, b.c it takes less maintenance but this rec also need a wireless router/inter connection.. if your tv is close to ur comp... it will work fine, if your tv is far away / then u also need to buy netgear...
ok now which dish u need... depends on what kind of channel do u watch normal tv station, ppv movies ,sports , foreign , ppvs, por*n etc........
any normal dish will work fine.. then u need to install dish , there are differenet directions depending on what kind of channels do u like...
110........ is good for ppv's (lots of ppvs) 119 ........lots of us network channels.. 148 .... mostly foreign channels (indo/pak) 91............canadian channels+ppvs

Pol Star: The receiver you have is a Pansat 2500 clone. There is a conversion available for it and you should get 100 results with it. However, currently there is a total black out because of ECM by the providers. Wait a day.
