For the past couple of months, I have experienced lost channels. I have VS Plat Lite and use Echo 7 & 8. Just out of the blue one time when loading a new bin, I lost half of my channels and can't get them back. I can't get ESPNs, Speed, HGTV, MTV, and many, many more! I have tried loading the factory bin, new bin, and the lastest SAT file, but still unable to get all the channels back. When I do an Auto Scan for ES 7 & 8, I ususally end up with duplicates of the same channels.
Is there anyone else that has experienced this and especially is there anyone out there that can tell me what I should try to do to fix it.
I know I can't do this until we get a new bin, but at least I can be prepared.
hope you do have signal for both satellite... if you are pointing 119 , you should have 119 locked on your uppper right hand corner of the screen. Same goes for 110. Make sure you have assigned both satelite right port...
One way to get a good scan is go to channel scan delete all but one tp with good Q prob 12224. Make sure network search is on and hit scan. Return to channel scan and any tp's without channels change polarity and if Q signal appears rescan with network search off. It worked well with extreme.

try it: All viewsat box "Write your sat info before" Go to Code menu Select Nagra and on Dish 01 06 00 Dish 00 01 00 dish 01 01 00 Delete this 3 provider one by one with F3 on remote "NEW" do same thing with all provider on Bev provider 09 07 00 09 06 00 09 05 00 09 01 00 08 01 00 no need to delete keys switch off 10 secs on back panel "New" do a factory default and load last bin for your box (from dsstesterDOTcom) turn autoroll on Keep on Bin and autoroll regenerete keys Resolve problem with lost channel , autoroll, freeze and search signal
Do setup on each sat and auto scan on each sat after for recover all channel "Dont do a blind no need" "Dont load factory bin"
