for the last bin (249 for 2700) all that was and is still needed was to leave on the channel that you wanted for up to 2 hours and then the picture would magically come in after the long wait of scrambled or bad channel. once the picture comes in you can change channels within the same transponder with no problem but changeing to a different transponder would cause the wait to start over again. so be sure to set it to the channel you will look forward to watching for at least a good amount of time. i am unsure if this is good practice for the newest releases.
