There are some bin's which have been modified for clones and flashing via a jtag connection. I can't recall if I seen a recent one for the 2700 anywhere I know there some for the 2500/2700 conversion boxes..

The jtag BIN for conversions (see Pulp's post above) is NOT suitable for genuine Pansat 2700

I viewed the jtag instructions for Pansat 2700, and it seems you cannot get the new BIN in via jtag. Check it out.

Pulp: I was not criticising you, so please don't get offended. I simply wanted to prevent this guy from jumping to get the conversion jtag BIN which is readily available or somebody posting a URL to it.

Hi everyone, my power has been out because of a storm this morning. I know we have not received a new bin, and I still have some channels, can you get me up to speed. I read about the jtag, not sure whats going on. Thanks Patient LauraD

Laura. You are highjacking the thread and you don't need jtag if you "still have some channels".

hey guys... thanks for all the advice and such, i really do appreciate the shared knowledge, but i think its time this electrical brick hit the ol' trash pile. Maybe i can convince the old lady to invest in a high def stb. this box has given me years of service and earned its purple heart for being mortally wounded in action.
