I have 2 boxes, both xtremes my upstairs box gets TBS ch 139 and MASN ch 432 but my downstairs box when I go to those channels says searching for signal and the channel doesnt come thru. Both are hooked up to the same dish so Im wondering if anyone can help me with what it wrong with my downstairs box/ signal.
Both have same antenna set up LNB On LNB Type OCS-DP LNB Freq 11250 22 khz off TP Freq 12224 Diseq Port 2 for Echo 7 119 and port 3 for echo 8110 Motor Off Legacy SW None
I think its a tone burst that helps with that dish 500 it should be a option in your diticq switch settings.....the trouble here is that LNB is not FTA friendly. I have heard some have to connect a old DN receiver to the lnb as well to get the correct voltage to that switch inside the LNB....keep playing with settings likke the tone burst and you may get it...
the dishpro lnb is VERY friendly, u must be thinking of the dishpro plus lnb. That one is tricky with the pansat 2700's i know, but works fine with the vs.
oh ok dantetn I can see that now clearly by rereadeing how easy it has been for that user to get it to work........
Just because your little set up works does not mean it will for them. One of the most frustrating things to hear when somthing is giving you trouble is "well it works great for me" or " I had no trouble with it" that does not help.....I am here spending my time to help others not be frustrating..
lol, chill out dude... I am just telling u u gave her wrong info. It wont work that way... I am telling u this so u wont tell others to try something that doesnt work. And my little set up is the ONLY set up with a dish pro lnb getting 110 and 119.
I have a dish 500 up and working good its for my bedroom receiver....thats how i got it to work with the tone burst option so I shared that with the user.
