I want to get rid of my current receiver and dish. I have about $400-$500 to invest in a new receiver and new dish to acquire d.n. Can anyone out there help me? Also, once I receive the system, what Do I really need to do, beside installing the dish and hooking up the whole system? Do I need to download anything? You guys have been very helpful in the past and I really appreciate it.
buy viewsat 9000 hd if u have hd tv... if u don't buy viewsat ultra...,pro it has good support... i just orderd Koolsat 6100 too...its also good... neusat is also good ... u don't need to download files...u just need internet connection and router..just plug and play and forget about the rest.. no need to download files...etc..

get a viwsat ultra or sonicview 4000. Dont go HD, u will spend 700 to get ANY HD channels on DN. Use ur old dn dish if that is what u have now. The lnb might work too. On either of these recievers, u can load the new files as they come out on a USB drive, then upload (fix) the reciever using the USB drive. No need to connect to a pc.
