no depends on what type of lnb is used.

They will set up the dish and any switches that you need. All you have to do is program your receiver and install the sats. This includes adjusting your settings to accomodate any type of switch they may use.

Get them to run two cables into the house if you are going to sub with dn, you can then use the fta stb and the dn one at the same time.

Now that you have your lnb's figured out you can go to http://www.pansatusa.com and download your 2500a manual to read.

that 1000 has Dish Pro Plus LNB's that need the additional power...it must be cabled to the LNB's..but NO subscription is needed..

Either... bad/poor/wrong cables (RG6) and connections (very possible)...poor dish alignment that needs slight adjustments (most likely)...LNB's not powered correctly....or too long cable runs (over 150 ft)...and recheck the receiver antenna settings

I think its the connections to the rec's because when i switched to my sub it said searching for signal so i went back to my regular connection and it worked again i cant figure out how to connect pansat and my sub rec i have tried a few things but nothing works

disconnect the AB switch for now...run cable to DN sub receiver and make sure it still works...then disconnect and run cable directly to the 2500 FTA and do a scan..if dish is aligned correctly, then FTA should get at least some "free in the clear unencrypted" channels and BOTH receivers should work...and if the sub ONLY works but NOT the FTA, then possible incorrect settings, too long cable run, or LNB's not powered correctly..and remember NOT to input cable to "antenna in" on FTA...

BTW...if the DN sub receiver doesn't come in, then U have either bad dish alignment or a tree or obstruction...or poor weather conditions..or bad cables and connections..
