I can't get my dish switch to work tried two other switch still get no signal, I put on a reg cable switch and I can get 110 or 119 when I switch it to a or what is wrong or what am I doing Wrong please help.
Thats what I have but I have tried two other diseqc switchs still can't get it to work what i did try was a normal cable switch and I get a signal whats going on 119 and 110 one at a time but not wit diseqc switch .
and most switches are only $5, so what do U expect for $5...buy a few spares..and weatherproof them in tupperware container or install in attic or basement..
LMAO...when U use 18 various switches at once , U are bound to run into some switch problems...the signals don't know whether to shi*t or go blind!...kinda like a seagull flying around Kennedy airport...LOL
If they ground metal case they won't blow it But it is true some transformers inside case use very thin wires can't handle higher than 250mA to 300mA 14v/75 ohms=200mA 18v/75 ohms=240mA
In Many cases recivers left on horizontal transponder uses 18v can be very close to 250mA If metal case is properly grounded it won't spike exceeding 240mA
Grounding case is best precaution And good weather proof connectors That DMS is a good weather resistant But just like anything else higher quality is higher price
