I'm missing some channels. I was wondering what I can do to get all the channels. Firstly, how do I delete all my channels and then do a blind scan? Second, what is this renaming echo 8.6 to echo 8.1 and getting more channels all about? I have a pansat 2700a by the way.
To delete your previous satellite, Go to channel edit, then delete, delete satellite which ever you decide. Then do a complete Blind Scan. I don't understand your second question.
After I delete it, I don't have to download something called a "factory bin" right? My second question is that i remember reading a few days ago one of LK's posts saying that if you rename ECHO8.6 to ECHO8.10 and then do a blind scan you'll get like 30 more channels added to the already existing list of channels. I was just wondering if this is true.
No, it's not necessary. All you have to due is delete then do a Blind Scan. Are you using one or two satellites? What state are you located in? For the Echo 8.6-8.1 I'm not sure, but the last two are three weeks both satellites have been getting more channels- for example, NFL Network, DiscoveryTimes, DiscoveryHome, ScienceChannel.etc..
