well i think that after the bin is released and we get hit by another ECM i dont think that the waiting time will be as bad as this one we are experiencing right now,because they will have the map already.. correct me if im wrong.

I believe that they have the entire map, but it still has to be reverse-engineered from transistors to machine code. Right now, not all of the MAP functions are being used, so the coders are trying to map out ONLY the routines that are being used. Rumor has it that they're stuck on one final routine (or maybe they're trying to guess at which of the many routines it is). To reverse engineer ALL of the routines will take quite some time.

I don't believe future ECMs will be solved super quick. Maybe a bit faster, but not a whole lot faster.

Rough times ahead.
