Lava 3200 as referred to as LavaSat 3200

Have other brands of receivers and had no problems but I am trying to help a friend setup lava 3200. I have had lots of trouble holding signal strength. Will hold for a few minutes and then its gone. Don't know anything about this machine so any info will help. I have installed latest fix as in message board and everything works except holding strenth of signal.

Thanks

Are you running the cables/LNBs through a DiSEqC switch? If so, bypass the switch and see if the signal holds.
Could also be a bad LNB.
Or check your cables/connections by running a new line.
Also see if the connector on the back of the box looks loose, mangled, etc.

I've checked all connections and its o.k. Connected to other cable and still have the same problem. It runs great for a while and then the signal lock just disappears. Is there a newer fix than the LAVA3200_273T_GC_DN_BEV_TRN_TVE_4sec_api(N) ???

This is a Pansat 2500A clone but won't accept Pansat files.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
