I'm looking for advice on an inexpensive but good quality DVD-A/SACD player. I've been considering the Pioneer DV-588A, which is certainly the right price.
I'm most interested in excellent performance on music DVDs and CDs and primarily non-action DVD movies. I do not have an HDTV, if that matters.
I'm also wondering about DualDiscs. I'd like a player capable of playing DualDiscs, but I think I read one review that said the Pioneer DV-588A may or may not be able to play DualDiscs due to their thickness. Does anyone know for a fact?
Any recommendations in the $100-$200 realm? Is it unrealistic to expect a high quality DVD-A/SACD player in that price range?
