Could someone help me out. i just got a viewsat vs2000 xtreme and i would like to know how to put a bin file in the receiver so that i can have Bev.exp-view and dish net with autoroll. Also what kind of loader do i use. iam new at this, so anykind of help would be nice. Where can i read about this!
I see that i didn't get much help with my post, so i became a member hoping that i will receiver more help then the above post.i was told that people at this sight help new people out alot.like i said, i don't know much about this hobby, but i can learn, where can i find the right info for my new viewsat vs2000 xtreme.
U need to read the manual and set up guide..those are files...there are NO files here..so what was recommended to U, was that U go to another DSS site with files that have the ones U need..Ecoustics here does not allow most links and URL's so we have to be creative..U must register at this hashhu site...its free and has much info..

i went to hashhu.co*m like you said but for some stupid reason i could not register would not except my password,i tryed many different words so i went to dss-tester and i found this file which said viewsat v.1055 for platinum and xtreme with this # (1141077673-vs2000-v1055.zip) (upload-1141077673-vs-2000 v 1055) Could you tell me if this is the right pin file.and if i can use a blacklist loader.iam not to sure about this. also i have another receiver in use with a diseqc switch that is not a xtreme. Thank you
go register here theres a real nice section on viewsat http://www .dsscommunity .com/forums/ youll need the 1055 bin for the extreme and loader2 load the bin then load a channelist and your good to go
Thanks for the info.what is this loader2.and what kind of channelist do i need! iam not to sure about the loader2.does not the channelist come with the bin file!i guess that was a stupid question for me to ask because you have already said i need the channellist.(thank you very much for your help)
i got that channel bin and loader at the sight.thanks for your help all iam asking is it right because i don't want to burn up the box. you are right pin file. loader2 file, and channel list file thanks for your good kindness. i will zip the files open and get tv again.
hook receiver to your computer turn receiver off with switch on back open loader2 open the bin file(make sure its a extreme bin)press download then turn on your receiver wait till download is complete and receiver reboots now turn receiver back off load chanel list hit download turn receiver backon wait till all is done.now hook to tv make sure the settings for your dish are right watch tv

Thanks Grim and lk i got my xtreme working find,i made a few mistakes but thanks to you two its working fine.i live in toronto can and i payed $210.00 cdn with tax.i was paying Bev.vu around $76.00 monthly for garbage and no ppv or sports. but around 15 french channels that i didn't want.they can go and rub salt now. Thank again.see you all
question...what is the present rate of exchange between US and Canadian dollars?
BTW...make dsscommunity your DSS home...read thenguides and manuals, and they will ALWAYS have the latest bins and files, and keys posted too..very friendly people there too..
Yes thats about right.i can remember when i was a kid and the exchange was around 5 cents or the same.i was stuck somewhere between the late fifties and early sixties.i remember when the beetles came to maple leaf gardens in toronto, and i had a ticket that i sold for $150.00 dollars,i was the richest kid on the block.i remember when John Kennedy got shot in Texas.i was in school that day when they announced it on the p.a system.we at school cryed that day, it was not only a sad day for america, but for the rest of the world.will lk thanks again, good talking to you and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the info and confirmation...we all remember where we were when we got the Kennedy news..my experience was the exact same as yours..(St Pat's school...6-7th grade)...I didn't sell my Beatles ticket (not in Toronto)...and used my Woodstock ticket but didn't need it..was in Nam, a year later..and Billy Preston, Marvin Ga*y, Jim Morrison and the Doors, CCR, Santana, Janis Joplin all rocked..anf there was no black/white....just US and VC...time flys..
