No File yet for Fortec... I have tried every file in this section, and I had to jtag every time after.
People IF you have a FORTEC that has BLACK not SILVER screws holding your box together, and it is dated August 2004 (or very close) you should be fine.
Every fortec that had SILVER screws DID NOT TAKE THE FILE. ONLY THE FORTECS with BLACK SCREWS took the file.
ALSO, FILES that state they have had the clone Kill removed are CORRECT, they DO work on PANTECS, MULTISTARS, cooltecs, and the miriad of PANSAT CLONES.
HOWEVER, THIS FILE TARGETS ORIGINAL FORTECS PURPOSELY!!
I bet a good 30% of fortecs have gone down due to these files.
DO NOT FLASH YOUR RECEIVERS UNTIL A FILE IS CONFIRMED WORKING ON NEWER MODEL FORTEC ULTRAS.

my fortec has black screws holding the box top cover. If this is ok, then where do I find the date you mention?
