This should be simple: I'd like to get a dvr deck that records at least 2 shows at once, AND has an input jack to plug in my old dvd/vhs deck, so I can replay old tapes and discs through the same line that goes to the tv from the dvr deck. Nobody around where I live knows if such a dvr deck even exists, including (of course) the Comcast people (duh!). Any help really appreciated.
I don't know why having that input jack is so important. TVs these days have a gazillion inputs.
As for recording two shows at once, you can do this only if the DVR has dual tuners and only if the signal coming from your cable provider is unscrambled.
