If you would like to ask a question, do not reply to one of the ipod threads already made. Dial-up users do not want to wait for the 100+ posts to load so they can respond-even high speed interent users dislike waiting for the page to load. Click Start A New Thread above the current threads (in the dark gray bar).

Almost every question you ask can be answered by three things:
1)Reading the troubleshooting guide in your owner's manual.
2)Holding the center button and then holding the MENU button at the same time until the unit resets itself.

3)Sending it in for service-especially units that won't turn on, the batteries in iPods only last 1-2 years if not sooner depending on how often you recharge it. Only iPod service centers can replace the battery.
