Hello all, I have a denon AVR-3803 - lovely machine - but it seems that my digital optical connections don't work. I've tried everything - including switching cables, switching sources, trying different optical ports (ie 1 through 5), etc. Is there any funny setting somewhere that I'm missing? If not, what would you think is the most likely cause, and what I'm looking at $$$-wise to fix it?
I just purchased this used, and this is a little frustrating, as you can imagine.. Depending on what I find out directly correlates with how hard I go back to the seller!
Quick additional note - no matter which variant I try, the digital light indicator on the front of the receiver never comes on...I'm starting to think this is hardware?
