Hi, my 100v companion 3 speakers was wrongly plugged without the step down transformer into a 220v outlet causing the speakers to stop functioning (no light/power). Not sure what was blown but upon inspection, it seemed like the 4A/125v fuse was blown.
Upon replacing this fuse, again with a step down transformer, the speakers powered fine and the led on the control pod is lighted and working. When connected to a music source through either line in on the control pod and sub itself, no sound output from the speakers but sound output is normal from headphone output to head/ear phones.
Only upon powering the sub off, for a brief moment until the power completely dissapates, the speakers outputs sound normally from the sub and satellites.
Any idea what is wrong with my system? Could it be that the new fuse is of the wrong specs? or another component needs to be changed?
