Newbie looking for some help. I am trying to repair a Bose Wave CD player. Very expensive alarm clock at the moment.
the problem appears to be with loading CD mechanism. The display states no CD in player but the mechanism is closed as if there is one in it. Ive opened it up and wound the motor to the open position where it stays until I try and put in a CD. It then stays in closed position despite there being nothing in it.
seems like a switch or something. I have found 1 switch on the mechanism which appears to work ok.
