I'm having a pair of speakers built at Tyler Acoustics and plan to have them veneered in a premium veneer. I like kewazinga, but have seen some pictures of Bubinga Pommele (same tree, different cut) that really looks interesting. The Pommele is about 3 times the cost of regular kewazinga. Has anyone seen both of these veneers? Any opinions?

Totally a matter of opinion.
That I prefer some woods in quarter sawn or that I really like my bookmatch Sapelle clock face should matter not.

I'd be looking to the decor of the room for a clue or perhaps your spouse has a preference.

If any doubt exists, just spend the most $$ you can.
