How Do I Cut .mts Files

For Windows, you can use the bundled HD Writer AE to trim .mts files. If you would like to split mts file, try tsmuxer. For Mac, iMovie will load the 1080i videos from TM900, but not the 1080/60p videos. Try final mate for mac to cut mts footage with timeline.
