How would you know if it's bnew or refurb?

Anonymous	Posted on Thursday, September 18, 2003 - 22:33 GMT I bought a marantz avr, but paid for a bnew price, how would I know if I have a bnew or refurbished unit? Is there any indication on the serial no.? My unit looks like new thou, but I wanna make sure that I hava a bnew one
