| The HK is better for music, the Denon for HT. Both are wonderful; you can't make a bad decision. The HK is clearer and brighter, almost to a fault, exposing any imperfections in your music source. The Denon is warmer (although brighter than the Yamaha RX-V3300, another great HT receiver)hence better for HT. I have the 3803's listed on eBay for $769 for manufaturer refurb (good as new). I also have the Yamaha Brand-New listed for $859. I've seen the HK for around $1000. Do a Search in Ebay under User ID aaazdaddy. |
