Receiver fro Flaunce HT package

Kar
I plan to buy the 5 speaker package from Fluance.
What would be a good budget A/V Receiver to drive it. My options are Denon 1804 and Onkyo TX-SR601. I am also considering Marantz 4300, H/K 225 and after reading opinions here NAD 742, even though its only a 5.1 receiver.

Thanks
Kar

The NAD 742 will be MY choice out of all your selections. There are really not a lot of media out there that supports 6.1 or 7.1, for that matter. However, all that are dts-es or dd-ex formats are backwards compatible with the 5.1.
What matters here is what you like...Do you want the capability to decode es and ex formats for that extended surround feeling....do you want the extra features that the Denon and Onkyo offers? Remember, you are going to be listening and living with this system, it's hard to go on somebody's suggestion and deep inside you wanted something else. You may have a tough decision ahead! Happy hunting!
cheers
