well first things first. i had an aiwa that got shocked out.it just wouldn't come on ..so i took it for broke and went and took the amp out of it..i want to put it with my reciever but theres no power and controlls...and for the other q, is can i put a car amp with my reciever???thanx
You can do it but that doesn't mean you should. You will need a power source for it because it is designed for DC not AC. If you do you will lose about 1/2 the power when you hook it up to 8 Ohm home speakers instead of the 4 Ohm speakers it was designed for. You are much better off buying a new reciever.
