What brands do you have available?

How much do you want to spend?

i think, with $500 budget, you able to get for new and nowdays speaker type. second hand speaker is ok, but it's depend on how the old pal usage. because i believe the characteristic of internal material will change especially moving parts.

B&W, Wharfedale, Epos and PSB come to mind. They like the warm sound of NAD.

Either the Wilson Watt Puppy 7, Infinity Reference Standard Series V (IRS V), or Krell LAT1s or LAT2s will all do just fine :-)
