Hello All,

I'm putting together a highly musical home theater / music system anchored by Magnepan speakers. My front mains are MG-1.6QR's, my center is the CC3, and my side and rear surrounds are the MC1's.

I'm looking for a good subwoofer, or possibly a pair of subwoofers, that will do movies justice, but without sacrificing speed, dexterity, tonal accuracy, etcetera on music... and which will blend seamlessly with my 1.6QR's. I'm more interested in accuracy than I am "boom".

I'd love to hear from Maggie owners regarding what subwoofers they've had good results with when paired with their Magnepan's.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I owned Maggie's for a while and just found a sub that would've worked beautifully with them. My friend turned me onto this sub and he uses it with his 3.6's. The Era Sub 10. Designed by Michael Kelly of Aerial to equal REL at a lower cost. The Sub 10 runs $1000 in a wood veneer or $1100 in piano black. It's the best, most musical sub that I have heard.
