A couple weeks ago I picked up a NAD T773 in a trade. After battling a hum/hiss problem I took the unit back to Lenbrook and the wonderful people there did a straigh exchange for a new unit. While waiting for my unit in the CS room, a NAD employee explained to me that you could use the SBL/SBR channels to bi-amp your front L/R speakers. So I had some spare interconnects and splitters from my previous setup which I ran between the connections on the back of the receiver to send the FL/FR signals to their corresponding inputs SBL/SBR. So my question is, when I press the test tone button on the remote and it runs through the L/R/C/SL/SR I hear noise. When it get to SBL/SBR I hear nothing. Does that sound right?
