New to the forums.........what to get mtx or velodyne?

I was just wanting to get some professional opinions on what sub to get for my home theater system......THis is what I am going to buy
yamaha rx-v450-apmlifier
polk audio r50-fronts
some jbl surrounf speakers

I dont know what sub to get........
an Mtx sw2 or the Velodyne dps-10

If you guys could help me out that would be great
I want good clean bass but I want it loud too!!
if you recommend me getting another one then say so!!! thanks

The Velodyne is around $400...
You'd be better off with Hsu, SVS or the Titanic kit from Parts Express.

One orders both HSU's and SVS directly from the manufacturer. And they both have return policies. Outlaw Audio also has an excellent subwoofer that they designed with HSU. It costs a bit more ($525), but it is amazingly powerful and accurate.

Yes, you could afford an Outlaw LFM-1 B-stock, if there are any left at $399.
