I am looking to spend around $500 on a well equiped but maybe underpowered AV receiver that I will use with a seperate amp running the front and center channels. I will still use the receiver for the surrounds. Is there any agreement on who makes the best sounding receiver with a decent remote for this price range? Bass management options are important.
