For my set up I dont know either to go with direct or Diople speakers. They will be placed about 2 feet above the listening position. And if you would recommend one or they other why?

One other thing I noticed looking at some of the Diople speakers that there frequencies do not cover the hole bandwidth 20-20K Hz

Thank you for your time

IMO direct speakers for in front (ie centre, left, right) and bi-pole or di-pole for surrounds.

Bi-pole is preferable if you are sitting with a wall closely behind your sitting position. Di-pole is preferable when your sitting position has some space behind it.

Some speakers such as the Polk Fxi3 surrounds i use have a switch for bi-pole or di-pole operation.

Kano or any one else, recomend the bipole or Dipole for surrounds witch are located 5-6 feet from the floor and 6 feet to the listeners ears?
