Can you hook up a sub to a receiver that doesn't have a designated sub input, but says Pre-amp/Pre-out?

I have an Sony Xplod XS-L1236 Subwoofer.
Max. Input Power: 900W and an Creative Labs Inspire T7700 Multimedia Speaker System 125W MAX PEAK. I wanted to combine the two for my computer setup, but I wasn't sure how.

take the leads that go to your left and right speakers and connect them to the input of your amp
then be ready for amazing sound
good luck

Use the sub pre-out that will work fine. Some receiver manufacturers have a dedicated sub out and some have it as part of the pre-out section.

Can anyone help me in finding a cheap, but decent amp that will work very well for my Sony Xplod XS-L1000B subs?
