i have an older kenwood reciever and i just purchased a speaker system that came with a powered sub but the old reciever has no output jack for the sub is there any other way to hook it up any ideas would be great
have you checked the manual? Most 5.1 sets have a manual that can tell how the speakers can be attached to your system. Some powered subs can be hooked up different ways. You can use the LFE output of your receiver or you can use the high level inputs of the powered sub, by attaching the speaker output from the receiver into the sub.
