What do you mean by the "HTR-2 remote serial cable"? What is the connector and wiring you speak of? I have an NAD T762 with HTR-2 remote, but I have never heard of these things. I know you can control the receiver by a computer using the RS-232 port and a normal serial cable, but other than that, you have lost me.
I would like to back up the programming I did on the remote. I took me several days to optimize the set up and I don't want to loose anything if the battery goes off for example. Also, it seems that there are some occasional software updates. Thanks anyway.
