I have tristar hd pvr that records, and pictures fine when Xbox set at 50 htz (unfortunatly COD is 60htz game as most are now) . I have xbox connected by xbox composite cables to hd pvr and out to tv by component (as tristar hd pvr upscales to high def). recording jumps and loss of colour namely Red spectrum, but is fine if xbox 50htz out.
hdmi to tv or even composite to tv picture is ok, so got to be something todo with signal going to or through pvr.
any ideas on settings or what i need to do would be gratefull. Tv is Technika lcd 32-207 I keep reading about pluging hdmi and composite at same time ( means breaking grey box on plug, is that good idea)
All help would be greatfully recieved , my son is doing my head in pestering to get it sorted.
