I have an older Micron Electronic monitor where when I press the menu button it bring up a message saying the "OSD Main Menu Locked". Does anyone know a way to get around this?
i found the same problem in samsung monitor syncmaster 551v :S plz any one can help us ?!

At least for Samsung try this: Press and hold the Menu button for 5 - 10 sec. and the OSD menu should be released. To re-lock it (to prevent accidentally changing the values) do the same again.
Every manufacturer has its own way of locking and unlocking the menu, for the best advice, you guys need to go to the support section of the manufaturers site. Send an e-mail if the FAQs or knowledge base don't help and in a couple of days you should have an answer. These guys want you to buy their products and will usually bend over backwards to help.
