Was using an Sony TRV-108 until recently I bought a Sony DCR-650. I regret theres no night vision but I recorded a storm for first time 2 days ago.

Not impressed by SP quality but I was wondering 2 things:

1. What is the best way to upload without losing quality using WindowsXP, Intel Pentium 1.87GhZ, RAM 3.0GB, 32Bit. 101GB Free of 184GB.

2. I usually upload with USB into the PMB software provided. I accidently deleted a movie in the computer but everytime I try to transfer it again it says no "new" movies found. It is still in camcorder though.

3. Once transferred, I would need to email the large size video.

4. What should I save the video in Windows Media? Real Media? MPEG? AVI.
4b. High Quality NTSC? High Speed Upload NTSC? HDV 1080/60i? HD 1080/60i 1920x1080?

Right now my steps are:

Upload via USB.
Transfer video clips to Studio11 to edit
Upload to Youtube
Email youtube link of video.
I need time to be cut in half and quality to be better. I would love any advice you have.

Here's the link to the storm, quality is horrible.

You should be uploading using Firewire.
