I have room I constructed at 14x21 feet.
54" x 96" Da-Lite fixed mount screen
Infocus 4805
Yamaha receiver RX-V2500
Polk R50 Front tower speakers (Will be in wall)
4 RC85i Polk for surrounds
Velodyne DLS-4000 sub

2 questions.
1. Can anyone let me know what would be a good DVD player/recorder with DVI
2. Who makes good IR extender for remote control. I need something since I will have my A/V equipment out of line of site.
3. Is there a product out there that will let me view multiple video inputs at once? Like picture - picture

Wow Scott, this looks very familiar!

I highly recommend the NuVo IR system, it works great and if you do some searching you can find it at a very reasonable price.

For the PIP questions...how are you getting your tv signal? If you do it via HDTV computer (which I do) you are able to do PIP easily!

I am using the Panasonic DVDS97S Progressive Scan DVD Player and it will upsacle to near HDTV quality and has HDVI output. There are many too choose from.

You are in for nothing but FUN!!! Enjoy

I would try to get components with HDMI.

That is really a better solution for future proofing your system.

If you have to use DVI, run HDMI cables where you are likely not to have access to again and use DVI pigtails at either end.
