what kind of enclosure are the ones where the sub is being fired into the enclosure, (mostly in trucks and suv's), are these any good? i have an ext cab truck and i waas wondering if you guys would recommend me doing this.

i'll bump it for you.. I have wonderd about that also becouse thay look realy cool if you have the right sub.
They can be done in pretty much any box, its mainly for looks, but there is usually no differance in sound. There is no speacil box (usually done w/ sealed though). I wouldnt suggest it for a ext. cab truck because of lack of space and room.
